之前的文章要么纯汉语，要么纯英语，对读者太不友好。

最近为了提升英语找了些电子书看，一些英文闲书，也顺带找了些聊以趣味的杂书，可惜都只有.epub格式的文件下载，之前从未碰到这个格式，手头的几个设备也都没有能阅读的软件，搜一搜吧。恩，搜到一个<Calibre>。内嵌多种语言，包括简汉。
觉得Calibre挺好的原因是可以完整读取电子书格式的种类足够多，如图1。

当然最赞的是Calibre可以完整读取这些电子书文件的元数据，包括作者、出版商、目录等等内嵌信息，在转换格式的时候也能保留、输出。而且转换输出的设置项目丰富，尤其是页面设置。
最后我把下载到的书都转成了pdf，基本上是台有屏幕的设备都能读取。赞。

To improve my English these days, I searched for some free English books and collected dozen interesting books which are eBooks. But the problem is that they are .epub files. Electronic equipment I have can’t read that kind of files.
Then I investigate a reader or transformer for them. A program called Calibre came to me. It is a free software which support varieties of language including Simplified Chinese.
The most impressive thing is Calibre can read most kinds of eBook files as Fig.1.
And I was amazed by its transform function. Calibre will input original data such as title, author, publisher those insert with eBook files. Output files will carry these original data after transform.
Also, rich settings of page setup is awesome !
Finally I convert my books in PDF files which is supporting by most equipment.
